The role of sound for this production combines the two roles of Sound Designer and Sound Operator.
They will initially be responsible for creating all sound and audio for a production. Depending on the requirements of the show, this can include sound effects, music, building atmosphere and how the performers are heard. The Sound Designer will work with the creative team, source all sound effects, make a cue list, liaising with the Stage Manager and attending required rehearsals, especially technical rehearsals.
Then they will be in charge of all the sound cues during the show, including playback of music, special effects, and pre-recorded sound cues.

Stage crew are a vital part of the show. Shows don’t happen without crew. They are needed along with the cast at the get in (moving all the scenery, props and equipment into the theatre), to move the scenery during scene changes and to help with the get out after the show has finished it’s last performance.
Being stage crew is a lot of fun, especially during the show. You get to be involved without having to rehearse for weeks. Work hard in the scene changes and play hard when you’re in the wings waiting.
There can be cues mid scene that involve interacting with the action onstage from out of sight.
Working as a team the scene changes become choreographed and slick. There are items of various sizes to be managed in most shows. The stereotype of crew being big strong men is far from what you’ll find behind the scenes of most west end shows.
This is perfect for those wanting to be immersed in the show experience without having to be onstage.

Hair and makeup in theatre play a crucial role in transforming performers into characters and enhancing the overall visual impact of a production.
The team responsible for this aspect, collaborate closely with the creative team to bring the Director’s vision to life. They design and apply makeup to achieve specific character looks, considering factors like lighting and audience distance.
Additionally, stylists create hairstyles that complement the characters and the production’s time period or theme.
The goal is to contribute to the storytelling by visually reinforcing character traits, setting the mood, and ensuring the performers’ appearance aligns with the production’s artistic vision.
