12th-14th & 17th-21st January 2024

Dick Whittington & The Pirates
Stage crew are a vital part of the show. Shows don’t happen without crew. They are needed along with the cast at the get in (moving all the scenery, props and equipment into the theatre), to move the scenery during scene changes and to help with the get out after the show has finished it’s last performance.
Being stage crew is a lot of fun, especially during the show. You get to be involved without having to rehearse for weeks. Work hard in the scene changes and play hard when you’re in the wings waiting.
There can be cues mid scene that involve interacting with the action onstage from out of sight.
Working as a team the scene changes become choreographed and slick. There are items of various sizes to be managed in most shows. The stereotype of crew being big strong men is far from what you’ll find behind the scenes of most west end shows.
This is perfect for those wanting to be immersed in the show experience without having to be onstage.

Musicals Showcase
At the heart of almost any theatrical performance is the Director, who takes charge of the production process and shapes almost every aspect of the show, managing the overall staging and artistic vision of a production.
They provide a guiding creative vision for all members of the production.
Directors, with the aid of the creative team, audition and cast actors, oversee the production team, provide design directives, lead rehearsals and manage the production schedule of the project ensuring that all the moving parts connect.
For the Musicals Showcase, there will be numerous Directors taking charge of different sections.
